Cincinnati PRSA is proud to announce our student scholarship and professional grant awards to individuals within our industry! Whether through academics, diversity or professional ambition, Cincinnati PRSA provides the recognition you’ve earned to help you excel in our chapter and in your career.
This scholarship is awarded to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at a Greater Cincinnati area college or university who maintains a 3.0 GPA, is involved in their campus PRSSA chapter, and majoring in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field. Underrepresented minority students and students who have not previously received this scholarship will be given priority.
Reward:
One year paid PRSSA National Dues
Eligibility:
Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a Greater Cincinnati area college/university
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be active in their institution’s PRSSA chapter
Priority is given to URM individuals
Submission Requirements:
Submit an essay of no more than 250 words that addresses the eligibility requirements listed above. Highlight academic achievement, relevant activity outside the classroom, and how you would promote diversity in public relations or communications.
In addition, submit a current résumé and a brief reference letter from your PRSSA advisor.
Participation required of awardee:
Attendance at one of Cincinnati PRSA’s monthly meetings. See New Pro Director to arrange.
This grant is awarded to a public relations, marketing or communications professional who is a current or prospective Cincinnati PRSA member who faces barriers to chapter involvement. Individuals who have not previously received this grant will be given priority
