Distinguish Yourself...Earn Your APR. The Cincinnati Chapter can Help!

An Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) reflects an understanding and mastery of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to develop and deliver strategic communications. For more than 50 years, APR has been the recognized gold standard for the profession.

The Cincinnati chapter offers classes for PR professionals interested in earning their APR certification, as well as practitioners interested in a comprehensive overview of our profession. The classes are designed specifically to help APR candidates prepare for their Panel Presentation (formerly Readiness Review) and the computer-based exam.

2023 Class Details and Registration

Each year, PRSA Cincinnati Chapter runs APR classes to help candidates looking to earn their APR prepare for their panel presentation and computer-based exam. These classes are typically held in the fall, once per week in the evenings for 5 weeks. The classes cost $100 for PRSA Cincinnati Chapter members and $120 for National PRSA members (who are not a local chapter member).

Details for the 2023 are not yet available, but will be posted on this page when they are finalized. Contact our Accreditation Director, Drew Bohmker, APR if you are interested in taking part in this year’s prep class..
