Position Description

Rasor works in a hybrid model (2 days in office; 3 from home); FTE (40 hours)

Position Purpose: To manage client work and ensure that it is completed on time and within the client’s budget and consistent with Rasor mission and values.

Position Duties may include:

  • Work as part of an account team to fulfill public relations and marketing communications needs for our clients including web content, articles, eblast campaigns, news releases, blogs, video scripts, social posts and collateral pieces

  • Conduct research for the team to ensure full understanding of resources, industries and issues that might affect our clients

  • Conduct communications audits including conducting client and/or subject matter expert interviews

  • Assist in developing paid social media campaigns

  • Monitor and analyze media coverage for clients

  • Prepare media reports

  • Provide support for, and prepare, market research activities

  • Work harmoniously with fellow employees

  • Undertake research for new business proposals

  • Act as a liaison with vendors (printers, designers, research firms)

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Agency responsibilities:

  • Draft blogs on a regular basis for posting on the Rasor site

  • Assist in creating agency marketing campaigns

  • Undertake research for new business proposals

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in marketing/communications role

  • College degree in marketing, communications or compatible field

  • Ability to manage multiple client workloads

  • Creative thought; exceptional writing skills; familiarity with AP Style

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Canva

  • An understanding of social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn; scheduling apps such as SproutSocial and Sendible; media reporting tools such as Critical Mention

  • Ability to work extremely well as a member of a team including a sense of accountability, responsiveness and initiative
