The Christ Hospital - Social Media - Marketing Specialist Senior

Do you speak all things SOCIAL? The Christ Hospital Health Network is looking for an experienced social media storyteller and strategist to take our channels to the next level!

The Social Media Senior Specialist is a hands-on role reporting to the Digital Content Manager. You will work with a wide range of providers and team members to improve the health of our community by creating engaging content; celebrate organizational and team member accomplishments; and surprise and delight our followers through your interactions.

This role requires a passionate brand advocate who enjoys personal interactions with our patients, their families, caregivers, and volunteers to share their stories with a positive spirit, empathy, and optimism.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • At least three years of progressive organic and paid social media experience with a focus on audience growth and engagement, as well as a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience creating organic and paid content for Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter), and LinkedIn with an eye toward emerging platforms like TikTok and Threads

  • Demonstrated ability to have authentic conversations on social media to improve the patient and family experience

  • An eye beyond vanity metrics to create and interpret analytics reporting that shows how social media is making a positive impact for the organization and to identify what’s working and what needs improvement

  • Experience with social media management platforms such as SproutSocial, HootSuite, or similar platforms

  • Experience with Meta business manager

  • Demonstrated photo, video, lighting and editing experience using a combination of in-phone tools and apps or supplemental equipment like DSLR cameras and microphones (experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus!)

  • Demonstrated exceptional writing skills that meet Network standards for brand, style, format, tone, etc.

  • Social listening skills to identify emerging trends

  • Experiencing engaging and working with local influencers

  • A fearless entrepreneurial spirit to test new ideas and willingness learn from experiments; the ability to take an idea and run with it with little oversight.
